Script Information for Physical Therapy: For Physical Therapy Clients in Michigan, a script is not necessary for therapy; however we still recommend you follow our suggested guidelines listed in Steps 1, 2 and 4 below.
For Private Paying Clients: A script is not needed. Simply call us for private pay pricing, and schedule an evaluation.

Many employer-based or individual/private insurance plans cover autism evaluations,
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy,
counseling, and parent training when services are deemed medically necessary.
Coverage depends on your specific plan. Our billing team verifies benefits and obtains
required authorizations before services begin so families understand coverage upfront.
At this time, Healing Haven is not credentialed with Medicaid or State managed
plans. However, we are committed to helping families explore alternative options and
resources when Medicaid coverage is needed.

Yes. When you start services at Healing Haven, we are your health care provider. We deliver
medically necessary services such as ABA therapy, evaluations, counseling, speech and
occupational therapies, and we work directly with insurance companies we are contracted with to
submit claims for covered services.
A deductible is the fixed amount you are responsible for paying each year before your insurance
benefits begin to cover services. Once your deductible is met, your insurance plan may begin
covering services according to your policy.
Coinsurance is the percentage of covered service costs you may be responsible for paying after
your deductible has been met. You typically continue paying coinsurance until you reach your plan’s
outofpocket maximum.
A copay is a fixed amount you may be required to pay for covered health care services. Copays
can vary depending on the type of service and your specific insurance plan.
Yes. Healing Haven contacts your insurance carrier to obtain a quote of benefits and determine
coverage details. While we work closely with insurance providers, coverage cannot be guaranteed,
as your policy is a contract between you and your insurance company.
Many insurance plans require prior authorization for services such as ABA therapy, evaluations,
and ongoing treatment. Healing Haven submits required authorization requests, but services can
only begin once approval is received.
